Anael is an international development professional with experience in project design, monitoring and evaluation, transitional justice, and conflict analysis and resolution. Prior to joining the ATJLF, Anael worked at the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) in Dakar, Senegal as Program Coordinator for the Equality, Justice and Human Rights program, and Program Assistant in the Executive Director’s Office. She has also interned and worked for other organizations including Search for Common Ground, The International Rescue Committee, Education Development Center and the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars.

Anael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from Towson University in Maryland, USA and a Master’s degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution with a concentration in conflict prevention and peace-building in Africa from American University in Washington, DC. Anael is the Grants and Programs Officer in charge of Mali, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia and ECOWAS.
