Juliet’s career and core interests span democracy, peace and security, criminal groups in the Sahel, Human rights, transitional justice, and Information Communication Technology for democracy (ICT4D) in Africa. Before joining the ATJLF, she worked as a Programs Officer at the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD West Africa), where she conceptualized and implemented several projects on Human Rights (in conflict zones), transitional justice, and elections in West Africa. She also worked at the International Centre for Transitional Justice (ICTJ) in New York where her research focused on the transitional justice process in the Gambia.
Juliet holds a Master’s degree in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law from the University of Geneva and the Geneva Graduate Institute. She also has a second Master's degree in European and International studies from the European Institute in Nice, France and a Bachelor’s degree in European Culture and Civilisation from the Nnamdi Azikwe University Awka, Nigeria.
